Return, Refund & Service Cancellation Policy

All design, development, and website management subscription fees are non-refundable once work has begun, including planning, design drafts, or content configuration.

If a project or subscription service is delayed due to missing content, approvals, or other client-related delays, service fees remain non-refundable.

If work has not yet begun, a $50 service fee will be charged to cover administrative and processing costs.

Due to the nature of SEO (which cannot guarantee specific ranking outcomes), all SEO service payments are non-refundable once optimization work has started.

Subscription-based SEO services may be canceled at any time, but no refunds will be issued for previously billed periods.

Monthly or annual hosting and management fees are non-refundable once the billing period begins. However, if an annual management plan was prepaid and canceled before the end of the term, a prorated refund may be issued for the unused portion.

Failure to maintain payments may result in suspension or removal of the website after a 10-day grace period. During this period, Bay Area Web Designs will make reasonable efforts to contact the client to resolve the issue before any suspension or removal occurs.

If Bay Area Web Designs purchases a domain (URL) on behalf of the client:

• The domain may be transferred to the client upon request.
• A one-time transfer fee of $99 will apply.
• The client must provide the necessary registrar credentials to complete the transfer.

If Bay Area Web Designs manages a domain and a transfer request is not completed within 90 days of project completion and payment is not received, Bay Area Web Designs retains ownership of the domain. We will make reasonable efforts to facilitate the transfer process.

Any purchased software licenses, premium themes, plugins, or digital assets are non-refundable once installed or activated.

If a cancellation is requested within 24 hours and no work has been performed, a $50 processing fee will apply, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

If any work has been started, a 50% refund may be issued at Bay Area Web Designs’ discretion.

After 24 hours, service fees become fully non-refundable.

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after cancellation.

The client agrees to provide required content, approval responses, and access credentials in a timely manner. Delays caused by the client do not qualify for refunds.
